How to connect Telegram, receive alerts, and perform available actions through the bot.

Telegram is an additional alert channel and a limited work interface. The authoritative state and full history remain in ATQAR, while the bot shows only the actions that the server currently allows you to perform.

Connecting your personal Telegram account: connection status and time.

Where to find your current work

There is no separate feed or read state. Current assignments are on “Now” and in Tasks, while administrative queues are in the relevant attention sections.

Connect Telegram

Telegram is an additional way to receive an alert about a significant change.

Start in the Telegram section of your Profile.

Before enabling it, the system warns you that the exact current task title, up to 160 characters long, is sent to your personal chat and that Telegram may retain its own copy. The outgoing alert does not include the task description, comments, blocker reason, guest name or contact details, or files. Connect only your own personal chat.

  1. Open More → your profile → Telegram.
  2. Select “Create a link for 5 minutes”.
  3. Select “Open Telegram” or scan the QR code.
  4. In the bot chat that opens, select the start button.

The link is valid for five minutes and can be used only once. This protects your account: nobody can use that link to connect a different account later.

If it expires, simply create a new one.

If the connection does not appear immediately, select “Verify connection”.

What the bot sends

Only significant changes from a closed list: new or changed assignment, rework, a blocker, a problem that blocks room readiness, a significant reschedule, a change to your duty when the roster is published, and the start of an actionable period. A checkout deadline, accepting a result, a comment, or changing only an estimate does not send an alert; publishing a roster sends one only when it changes something for that specific person. The bot has no history or read receipts.

What you can do in the bot

The main menu includes “What should I do now?”, “My tasks”, “Report a problem”, and help. Administrators and owners also have “My work”, “Needs attention”, and “For review”.

Open a task in the bot. Only the actions currently allowed appear below its summary. There is no separate start button. Do the work and select “Done”. You can also say that the work cannot be completed, resume it after the problem is resolved, add a comment, or report a new problem.

The bot does not accept new photos or videos. A photo is optional: without one, “Done” works directly in the bot. When the work requires review, an administrator inspects the result onsite. For remote review, open the secure web card, upload the file, and select “Done” there.

An administrator or owner can claim or release an administrative investigation. Accepting or returning a result takes place in the secure web card, where files can be viewed and the review carried out.

A separate button lets you report a problem in a room. The bot asks for the property, the room, a description, and whether the problem blocks room readiness. It does not ask about urgency: a report has no deadline yet. An administrator sets one during investigation, and the ‘Urgent’ mark appears two hours before it. Ordinary text sent outside a step started by the bot does not change a task.

What remains in the web app

The full card, files, and complete history are available in ATQAR through the “Open in CRM” button. The work available to you is always listed in Tasks. The web app is also where work is assigned and reassigned, an optional photo is added, problem reports are investigated, results are accepted or returned, deadlines are changed, cycles are corrected, and stays, properties, and employees are managed.

Before every command, the bot rechecks the account, role, relationship to the task, and current state. This means an outdated button cannot repeat an action that has already been completed: the bot displays the current state or asks you to open ATQAR.

You can disable notifications without disconnecting your account by turning off “Notifications in Telegram”.

Disconnect Telegram

Select “Disconnect Telegram” and confirm. External alerts will stop, while your current work remains on the relevant ATQAR pages.

If alerts do not arrive

Check the following in order:

  • the Telegram section is open and says “Connected”;
  • the “Notifications in Telegram” switch is on;
  • Telegram notifications are enabled in the phone’s settings;
  • the bot chat is not muted in Telegram.

If everything is enabled but no messages arrive, select “Verify connection”. If that does not help, tell an administrator: the bot may be temporarily unavailable.

Invitation for an employee

An owner can begin connecting Telegram for an employee without access to their phone. In Staff, open the employee card and its Telegram section, enter the owner’s current password, and create a five-minute invitation. Send the link to the employee so they can open it themselves.

Do not open somebody else’s invitation on your phone, or their alerts will be sent to you.
