**In-stay cleaning** is the regular cleaning of a room whose guest is still
living in it. It is not tied to a checkout; it appears to a rhythm.

The interval is set for the property, and can be changed for a particular stay
— where a guest has agreed to a clean once a week rather than every three days,
for instance.

Such a cleaning is assigned by the same rules as a checkout cleaning: to a
named housekeeper, at an exact hour inside their own shift. The shift cannot be
stepped outside.

What happens to missed intervals is worth knowing separately. If several pass
without a cleaning, the system does not produce a stack of overdue tasks — one
missed cleaning appears. A stack of overdue work does not help anyone catch
up: it makes people stop reading the list.
