A housekeeper reads their own plan on **Now**: it draws the day by the hour and
pages a week at a time. Their navigation has no Shifts or Schedule entry —
planning availability and reading how the rooms fill are an administrator's
decisions.

The pages below still answer a worker with their own plan if they open them by a
link. Neither shows a colleague's roster, guest stays, or unassigned tasks.

## Shifts

The shifts page shows your week across every property in the organisation. The week
is drawn as a board: one column per day, hours down the left, the shift as a
block, and work that has an exact time as cards inside it.

> Product demonstration: Your week. The block is the shift; a card inside it is work with an exact hour.

Today's column carries a line at the current time. Times are shown in the
property's time zone, not the phone's. A cleaning appears on the board with an
exact hour because an administrator or the system reserved exactly 60 minutes
for it inside your shift.

Work with no exact time does not reach the board — it is in **Tasks**.

Two messages have different meanings:

- **Not planned**: you have no shift on that day;
- **Schedule needs review**: an administrator must update the future
plan after your employee details have changed.

A shift does not prove attendance and does not let you start any work at the
property. You may work only on a personally assigned task whose current state
allows it.

## Calendar

**Calendar** shows your current non-terminal assignments in the same **Day**,
**Grid**, and **Month** views used by the shared calendar. It always combines
every property in the organisation, while the button showing the current period
opens a calendar for
picking a day, with **Today** inside it.

In the grid, each row represents a room or property-level work, each column is
an operational day, and a marker opens the task assigned to you. Month view
shows the number of your assigned tasks on each day.

The housekeeper schedule does not show stays, arrivals, departures, guests,
room readiness, colleagues' tasks, or unassigned work. An expected checkout
forecast remains under **Tasks → Today** or **Tasks → Upcoming** and never
allows cleaning to start.

## If the views disagree

Task assignment remains the authority for doing work. If a shift and an
assignment differ, do not change the plan yourself: open the task and ask an
administrator to resolve it. Previously loaded data may become stale while
offline, so refresh the page after the connection returns.
