The [‘Action Log’](https://atqar.com/en/activity/?scope=mine) section shows successful changes made
in ATQAR over the past 90 days. It is useful when you remember adding or
correcting something but cannot remember the property, room, or date.

> Product demonstration: An example activity log: category, time, and linked record.

## What is recorded

Each row represents one completed action, for example:

- a task was created or changed;
- a comment or file was added to a task;
- a stay was added, corrected, or cancelled, or check-in was recorded,
  corrected, or removed;
- a guest was created or changed, or a blocklist warning was added or removed;
- checkout was confirmed;
- a property, room, or employee was changed.

Opening pages, clicking, viewing records, marking notifications as read, errors,
sign-in and sign-out, changing your own password or language, and configuring
Telegram or sign-in keys are not included in the activity log.

The text of a comment, task description, reason, password, username, filename,
and file link are not copied into the log. A row shows only safe facts: status,
changed fields, dates, and the linked record.

## How to find a change

1. Open the ‘Log’ section.
2. Select a category and property if necessary.
3. Find the day and time of the action.
4. Select the row to open the task, stay, guest, room, or employee.

When a stay is corrected, the activity log shows the period **before** and
**after** the change. The link opens the calendar on the relevant date and
immediately opens the editor for that stay.

Correcting the actual check-in time is a separate action. Room history shows
the previous and corrected times; the stay does not return to Booking between
them.

The **‘Via Telegram’** marker means that the business action was performed from
Telegram. Connecting Telegram itself is not recorded in the activity log.

An employee’s name in a row opens a hint: point at it, tap it on a phone, or
reach it with the Tab key, and the work phone number and the role appear beside
it. The number there is the current one — an old number reaches nobody. The role
is labelled **‘Role at that time’**: it is kept as it stood at the moment of the
action. Where the role of that moment could not be established, the role line is
not shown at all.

Guest-directory actions are available in the log to administrators and owners.
The row uses the guest’s current name but does not copy the telephone number,
note, or blocklist reason. The link opens the current record only if you have
permission to access the directory.

## ‘All available’ and ‘My’

- Housekeepers and technicians see only their own actions.
- The owner sees available actions by every employee in the organisation.
- An administrator sees their own actions and those of housekeepers and
  technicians across every property in the organisation. They do not see the
  actions of the owner or other administrators.

For owners and administrators, the log opens in **‘All available’** mode.
Switch to **‘My’** if you only need your own history.

If your current role or relationship to a record no longer permits access, the
activity log does not reveal that row. A previously saved name does not bypass
the current permission check.

## Why only 90 days are shown

The activity log is a short aid for daily work and is automatically cleared
after 90 days. This does not delete task or stay history and does not change the
retention period of the security log.

The activity log, task history, and security log serve different purposes:

- the activity log helps an employee recall their own recent changes;
- task history explains the lifecycle of one task;
- the security log supports access control and investigation of administrative
  events.
